This is a variable clock output device.
You can manipulate the speed of the Game Boy processor on the fly with a potentiometer.
The pitch of the sound will become lower as you slow it down and it will become higher when you speed it up.
You can make some incredible sounds with this kit as well as adding a whole new way to play games!

Built in features:
-Panel mounting:
This kit can be mounted directly the Game Boy case with the provided screws and spacer.

-High & low limiter: With a 100k-500K pot(higher resistance = lower speed and pitch) this kit will go so slow and low that the LCD will not be visible and the notes will sound like a droning "growl"(this can actually be a very awesome effect for music). It will also go fast enough to crash the Game Boy The VCv5 comes with two 200K trim pot pre-installed. This will allow you to set the low and high limits before you install the kit or you can install it at the top or side of an Original Game Boy(DMG) and the low limiter can be accessed through a small hole with a screw driver so that it can be adjusted on the fly. You can also use this to tune your Game Boy for precise high and low pitches. Check out this video for a demonstration of how this feature works:
